Title: New Feature: Event Calendar Post by Doug Beck on Dec 1st, 2007 at 7:58pm
A new feature has been added to the board's software to allow users to post fly-in events which will then be available to all users and guests from the front page (look at the bottom when you first sign on.)
Simply click on 'event calendar' button to post an event. Please keep the descriptions on the calendar brief (Location and time) and make a reference to check the forums for more information (lat/longs) weather updates, pictures, ect. The Event Calendar is meant as a quick reference with all fly-in information quickly visible and then post additional information in the forum if desired. I hope you find this additional feature useful ! |

When you are posting an event it would be helpfull to give as much information on the location as possable. Give the state and nearest city or airport. It will make it easier for those not familiar with the event to find it and attend.

An event calendar is a great addition to the website. However after much searching I cannot find it. I've signed out and signed back in and looked all over the home page and still cannot locate the calendar. :-[
Thanks! |

Sorry....it was on an old version of the site.
I will be doing an update in the next few weeks. Look for improvements. Until then, all events are just posted in the forum. DB |
Title: Skiplane Flyin in eastern Vermont Post by Crusty Old Aviator on Feb 17th, 2020 at 8:50am
Our EAA Chapter has set the date for our ski plane fly in on Crystal Lake, VT. Saturday March 29 from 10AM till 2PM. It will be moved to Sunday the 30th if weather becomes an issue. It would be greatly appreciated if you will help spread the word to anyone with a ski plane.
Crystal Lake is ~10 miles north of KCDA, about a mile east of I-91, and has the small village of Barton on it's north end. |
