Hello all...brand new member here from Byron, NY (halfway between Buffalo & Rochester)

I have a 180 hp, Franklin powered, '47 Stinson 108-2 that I am looking for straight skis for. If anyone has a set of Federal 2500 or 3500 or equivelant, let me know please.

Thanks in advance!

Steve,
Are you related to Dennis?
I have just gotten a field approval for a set of Landes Airglas 3000 skis for my Stinson 108-3. You may want to consider going that way if you don't find a pair of Federals. The Landes 2500 skis are identical to the 3000's except they are a little wider. Whatever way you go, you will require ski axles 108-5G1101 as per the Type Certificate Data Sheet or any field approval you might get. Univair gets $500 each for those axles. They are the same heavy wall axles used on the 108-3. You may want to try to find some used ones. Good luck.
