Nice pictures!  Where were they taken?  I see Stillwater mentioned in the first post, but it doesn't look much like Mn.  Must be a different Stillwater.  Jim Chuk

Joe and I went up to Speculator for breakfast on Sat

Then to Sport Island to meet up with Tim the Jim

Then Joe and I went to Capt Nauties

We ran into a few flurry's on the 30 mile trip back to my place, had to hide Joe from the snow for a while

Went to the pancake breakfast at the Ames FD today, landed in the hayfield behind the church. They do between 1000 to 1300 breakfasts by 1pm. Lots of fun but you have to get there by 8:15 or the line is out the door.

Between the squalls

So far winter here sucks for ski flying but making the best of it. Sap House opens soon.

Very nice!

If you need a reason to fly then sell your plane. Way to many pilots out there with a bowl of fruit sitting on their cowling.

Joe landed at my place and we flew up to Speculator together. I had no snow so had to go on tires. Picked up Ken, Frank and Cliff along the way.

Left there and went to Big Moose for the drag races ( left camera in plane )

Then to Raquette Lk for lunch and they were cutting ice to fill the restaurants ice house.

We ate in the boat

Then home

I know it's only Thusday morning but Saturday looks like it might be good flying day. Got a foot of snow yesterday so it's time for some needed ski time in the Northeast. We can either meet at the Saphouse or Speculator at 9am for breakfast. The ice castle is up and open so work our way North to Saranac Lake then back to the Adirondack Hotel in Long Lake or the Inn at Stillwater for lunch.

Looks great for tomorrow. Speculator, North end of Lake Pleasent at 9am for breakfast. A foot of new snow, sunshine, mid 20s and mild winds. Should be 8 or 10 of us. Anybody on SKIS is welcome to join in. We will be on 122.75
